Hair Care
1. WASHING CONDITIONING
-Gently detangle your hair before washing.
- Avoid bending over or washing hair upside down to prevent
tangling and friction.
- Use a sulfate-free, mild shampoo with cool or lukewarm water.
- Apply conditioner evenly from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the
roots and attachment points (tapes, bonds, clips, etc.).
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- DO NOT rub, twist, or wring the hair while washing.
- Wash hair extensions 1–2 times per week to maintain moisture
and longevity.
2. DRYING
- Gently squeeze out excess water with a soft cotton or microfiber
towel. DO NOT RUB.
- Air drying is highly recommended for the longest lifespan.
- If blow-drying is necessary:
Use low to medium heat settings.
-Keep the dryer 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) away from your hair
and keep it moving.
- Always blow-dry in a downward direction (from roots to
ends) to prevent tangling.
- Avoid applying direct heat to the attachment points (tapes,
keratin bonds, lace, clips, etc.).
3. BRUSHING & DETANGLING
- Always separate your natural hair from the extensions before
brushing to avoid pulling on the bonds or your scalp.
- For clients with naturally curly or textured hair, proper separation
between natural hair and extensions is essential to prevent
matting and tangling.
- Use a wide-tooth comb or a special loop brush designed for
extensions.
- For straight hair:
- Brush gently in a downward motion, starting from
the ends and working your way up to the roots.
- For curly/wavy hair:
- Detangle gently with your fingers, curl by curl.
- It is best to detangle when the hair is damp and conditioned.
-Do not brush curly hair when it is completely dry.
4. DAILY CARE & STYLING
- Before sleeping: Securely but loosely tie your hair in a loose braid
or a high loose bun (pineapple style) to prevent tangling while you
sleep.
- Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and frizz.
- Avoid chlorine (swimming pools) and saltwater. If exposed, rinse
immediately with clean water and apply conditioner.
- Avoid heavy protein-based products, as they can make the
extensions dry and brittle.
- Use professional salon-grade products specifically designed for
hair extensions.
- Keep the hair well moisturized, especially when using heat styling
tools frequently.
5. CHEMICAL SERVICES (Color, Perms, etc.)
- Darker shades can be applied safely over the current color.
- AVOID BLEACHING OR LIGHTENING the extensions, as strong
chemicals will damage the hair structure.
- Color-treated extensions require extra care. Frequent washing,
high heat styling, or harsh products may accelerate color fading.
-All chemical services (coloring, perming, straightening) should
ONLY be performed by a professional stylist experienced with hair
extensions.
6. MAINTENANCE
- Visit your stylist for a maintenance check-up every 4 to 6 weeks to
ensure the attachments are secure and your natural hair is
healthy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Please check the hair carefully before opening or applying the
extensions.
• Due to hygiene reasons, hair that has been removed from the
packaging or professionally applied cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Improper washing, excessive heat, rubbing, using unsuitable hair
products, or failing to separate your natural hair from the extensions
when brushing are the main causes of tangling, matting, and damage.
• Always handle your extensions gently and follow the Hair Extension
Care Instructions carefully to ensure long-lasting performance and
beautiful hair.
